Nomination papers shall be deemed to be valid unless objections are filed in writing (an original and two copies). Objections to petitions of candidates for County-Wide Offices, County Board Members, Precinct Committeemen, School Board Members and Regional Office of Education are to be filed with the County Clerk. All other objections should be filed with the same office that the nominating petitions were filed. Objections are to be filed within five business days after the last day for the filing of nomination papers. It is suggested that you check with the appropriate office as to the deadline, as Holiday hours are taken into consideration in determining the deadline.
