Grace Period Registration/Voting

Grace Period Registration is an extension of voter registration, from the regular close of registration, up until and including Election Day, through the close of the polls.  Grace Period individuals must vote on the same day as they register to vote.

Grace Period individuals may register to vote or change their address, in person at our Sycamore  Early Voting Center, beginning the 27th day before the election and continuing through the day before Election Day; other Early Voting Centers within DeKalb County, beginning the 15th day prior to the election continuing through the day before Election Day.  Also, on Election Day, you may register to vote at an Election Day Polling Place, keeping in mind that you must reside in the precinct that it serves.  Grace Period Registration/Voting will also be available on Election Day at our Sycamore Campus Elections Office site.

The same qualifications, as registering to vote at any other time, applies to   Grace Period Registration.

The schedule for where and when you may register/vote will be posted on this website, when it is available.
